Too much food for the feast day, not enough for the rest of the year

Too much food for the feast day, not enough for the rest of the year. That's what we are. I feel really guilty after the fiesta.

Well, I dont host a free-for-all-meal, I dont have that much money. I was just thinking if those Miagao VIPs would only put the money to something more needed by the less fortunate rather host a feastful meal, we could cut the long meaningless tradition of one-day-full-all-year-less popularity contest.

The money could have been use to sponsor students, create livelihood training projects and make an environment for small business jumpstart.

Whatever that means, maybe St. Thomas would not mind at all being himself lived the frugal way.
